The Ten Commandments
1.私は１０〜１５年くらいしか生きられません。
My life is likely to last ten to fifteen years．
私はあなたが側にいないと寂しいのです。
Any separation from you will painful for me.
どうぞ 私を迎える前にそのことを思い出してください。
Remember that before you buy me.

２．私があなたの為に 何ができるのか分かるための時を下さい。
Give me time to understand what you want of me.
３．信頼すること、それが私が幸せになるために 大切なことです。
Place your trust in me- it's crucial to my Well-being.

４．長い時間叱ったり、閉じ込めたりしないで下さい。
Don't be angry at me for long and don't lock me up as punishment.
あなたには仕事、楽しみなどがあります、友達だっているでしょう。
でも･･･私にはあなたしか何もありません。
You have your work，your entertainment and your friends． I have only you．

５．良かったら！ 私に話しかけて下さい。
Talk to me sometimes．
たとえあなたの言ってることが分からなくても、
あなたの声で分かるのです。
Even if I don't understand your words
I understand your voice when it's speaking to me．
６．あなたが私にどんな風な扱いをしていたか 気づいて欲しい・・・
そして 私はその事を忘れない・・・
Be aware that however you treat me I'll never forget it.

７．私を叩く前に、
私はあなたの手を噛み砕く歯があるけれど、
私はあなたを傷つけないようにしている事を・・・思い出して下さい。
Remember before you hit me that l have teeth that could easily crush
the bones of your hand but that I choose not to bite you．
８．私のことを素直でない、馬鹿だとみないで、
その原因が何であるかと あなたの心に聞きなさい！
Before you scold me for being uncooperative，obstinate or lazy，
ask yourself if something might be bothering me.
あなたが 楽しみにしている餌をあげなかったのでは・・・？
それとも １日中外に放置していたのでは・・・？
年をとって 体が弱っているのでは・・・？ などと・・・
Perhaps I'm not getting the right food，or I've been out in the sun
too long or my heart is getting old and weak．

あなだって同じなのです。
Take care of me when I get old ; you too will grow old.
１０．どこにでも 私を一緒に連れて行って下さい。
Go with me on difficult journeys．
