- May 7 - Left Tehachapi with heavy backpack

My backpack was incredibly heavy filled with lots foods and water. Walking in the downtown, �@David, who commute from Tehachapi to Los Angeles, picked me up, and took me to the trailhead. He have ever hiked Appalachian Trail for about 500 miles, and will hike from California to Georgia next season for about six months.

Hiked in the forest of the windmill near Tehachapi Pass.

PCT corss over the Freeway near the Tehachapi Pass	Cars run with 65-mph-speed. How about me ? About 15 mile per day. How slow !

Ascending the ridge, after leaving Tehachapi Pass.

Felt cold on the ridge just bufore sunset, although felt hot in the Tehachapi Pass.
