- Jun.8 - Holiday in the Yosemite Valley

Tried to hitchhike on the Tioga Road. Don Reid, who is a guide for climbing and an author, took me to the Yosemite Valley. He know about "Patti", who I met in Kennedy Meadows about three weeks ago.	He sometimes serveys faces of rocks. We could see some tents, hung on the cliff of the El Capitan.

Camped at "Camp 4" in the Yosemite Valley.	Hiked to the Mirror Lake in the evening.
