- Jun.23 - A deer wandered around my tent.

Ariived at Highway-49 in the morning, and went to Sierra City by hitchhike.	A post office, a grocery, and a few hotels at the center of the downtown.

Library was closed.	On the scenic ridge, after ascending to Sierra Buttes along the Switchback.

Sunset in the campsite near the Sierra Buttes. A faint contrail seemed to be a Japanese killifish.
