Ate breakfast at a general store, just before leaving for Hot Springs. Hiking along French Broad River.

Wild iris and trillium in rainy day.

Found a sign at Allen Gap, and followed the information in the sign. Arrived a log house, where Trail Angels live, just after walking along highway.

Angels served us hot stew, cakes and soda. "Jack-a-roo" caught up with me.

With "Nean" , who lives in the woods near the Trail. Found mayself in BACKPACKER MAGAZINE May issue at his house. I and "Jack-a-roo" stayed his log cabin. "G.R.U.M.P." arrived here soon.
